About Us

Behnegar was established in 1991 with the aim of distributing educational films in Iran; and a reliablesource of quality educational films from world-renowned producers and production companies to educational institutions, organizations and Government agencies. Later Behnegar expanded its activity by providing documentary programs to the Iran’s public television (I.R.I.B.).

In 1998, by production of the feature film “Djomeh” – a co-production with France (winner of Camera D’ Ore at Cannes Film Festival 2000), Behnegar began its film production. Since then we have had in-house as well as co-production of many feature films and documentaries with France, Japan, and Germany.
